Plumbing Services
In 2000 Gordon went
back to plumbing school to earn his Master’s Plumbing License. It was
quite an adjustment; it had been 15 years since he had seen these math
formulas. After many months of studying and hard work he passed the exam
on the first try. Even though Massachusetts does not yet require
continuing Education for license renewal, Gordon attends seminars,
classes and trade shows to keep up to date.
FAQs
How do you price
a job?
We use contractor
pricing. This is a pricing system devised using historical data to
figure out an average time and average material list for a specific
task.
What does this
mean to me?
You will receive a
fixed price upfront before the work is done for that specific task.
This means no watching the clock if the job takes longer than
expected it will not cost you more.
Do I need to be
there?
We expect that one
of the homeowners is present so the work can be explained and the
price can be presented.
Why won't you
give me a price over the phone?
We are not able to
give a price over the phone because there are
so many variants in a home. The age and condition of the pipes as
well as the type of pipe used all factor into the job. Plumbing in
an older home sometimes may have been done by an unlicensed
individual and may not be up to code therefore the job may be more
involved than expected.
Do you charge a destination
fee?
Yes we do charge a destination fee
of $ 59.95. This includes our travel time and one half hour of
diagnostic at that point you will be presented with a price and you
will decide to go forward with the work. This fee is waived if the
proposed work is performed.
